Here are four things to know about Ms. Takes.
1. Ms. Takes will replace Russell Knight, who is retiring after leading the hospital for 18 years.
2. Ms. Takes will begin her new role Oct. 2.
3. Ms. Takes has been at Mercy since 1998 and currently serves as vice president of patient services and CNO.
4. Prior to joining Mercy, Ms. Takes was an administrative director at Tri-State Occupational Health in Dubuque.
