North Okaloosa Medical Center CEO resigns: 3 things to know

David Fuller, CEO of North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Fla., resigned June 23, according to a Crestview News Bulletin report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Fuller and his resignation.

1. No reason was given for Mr. Fuller’s resignation, according to the report. However, Crestview Mayor David Cadle told the Crestview News Bulletin that, according to CHS officials, Mr. Fuller’s departure was not related to recent news reports of high NOMC billing rates.

2.. Mr. Fuller will be replaced by Jeff Reece, who will serve as interim CEO, effective June 29. Mr. Reece was most recently CEO of Chesterfield General Hospital in Cheraw, S.C.

3. Mr. Fuller took the helm of NOMC upon the reassignment of former CEO David Sanders to FanninRegionalHospital in Blue Ridge, Ga., in August 2010. Prior to joining NOMC, Mr. Fuller was CEO at Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Va.
