Jason Whinham has exited his role as assistant vice president of capital planning and analytics at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, according to a Sept. 10 LinkedIn post.

He now serves as first vice president and head of capital for Nashville-based Healthcare Realty, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns and operates outpatient medical facilities across the U.S., according to its LinkedIn page.

Mr. Whinham spent 18 years with HCA, according to his LinkedIn page. He served as assistant vice president of capital planning and analytics for more than 10 years.

He also served as planning director at HCA for nearly six years.

“I started in 2008 as an administrative fellow at [HCA’s Wichita, Kan.-based] Wesley Medical Center, and I’ve had the chance to grow into roles and responsibilities I never would have predicted back then — including these last several years as AVP of Capital Planning & Analytics, where I got to help steward capital investment across the enterprise,” Mr. Whinham said in the post. “Along the way I’ve learned from mentors who invested in me early, operators who taught me what really matters on the ground, and design and construction professionals who showed me how ideas actually become buildings. I’m grateful for all of it.”
