Here are three things to know about Ms. Hurtado.
1. Ms. Xochy will be an employee of Methodist Healthcare and will begin her new responsibilities at the beginning of August.
2. For the past two years, Ms. Hurtado has been vice president of operations for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital, both in San Antonio.
3. Prior to her employment with Methodist Healthcare, Ms. Xochy was COO of six years at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, and for two and a half years was the associate administrator for Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas.
