1. Tacoma, Wash.-based Franciscan Health announced the appointment of David Schultz, MHA, as president for Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., effective Dec. 15.

2. The University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville appointed Michael A. Williams, MD, as its first CMIO.

3. Oakland, Calif.-based Alameda Hospital appointed Bonnie Panlasigui as the chief administrative officer, effective Oct. 20.

4. Mitch Leckelt, MBA, was appointed CEO of Ishpeming, Mich.-based Bell Hospital after serving as the hospital’s interim CEO since July.

5. Pottsville, Pa.-based Schuylkill Health announced the appointment of Marc Lory, MPA, as interim president and CEO.

6. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock appointed Rhonda Jorden as vice chancellor for IT and CIO.

7. Eric Deaton, MBA, is returning to Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System as COO.

8. Jackson-based Central Mississippi Medical Center announced the appointment of Tonda V. Haigler, MBA, as COO.

9. Jim Sexton, MHA, was appointed interim CEO of El Paso (Texas) Children’s Hospital.

10. Deborah Burton, BSN, RN, retired from her position as vice president and CNO of West Georgia Health in LaGrange.
