West Georgia Health CNO retires

Deborah Burton, BSN, RN, has retired from her position as vice president and CNO of West Georgia Health in LaGrange.

Ms. Burton started working as a staff nurse at West Georgia Medical Center in 1974 and has served as a nurse manager and nursing director within the system before becoming vice president and CNO.

Ms. Burton earned her BSN from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University in Atlanta and also holds a master’s degree in business from LaGrange College. She looks forward to spending time with her family during retirement.
