Mr. Strauss joins Seton from Tucson, Ariz.-based Carondelet Health Network, where he served as CFO. Mr. Strauss will continue as CFO of Carondelet for some time, commuting between Austin and Tucson, while Carondelet completes a transaction with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
During his 36 years of working in healthcare finance, Mr. Strauss has also served as CFO of Nashville-based Saint Thomas Health, interim CFO of Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, N.J., and CFO of St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.
