Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota names CEO

Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota will have a new CEO come Dec. 8, when Robert Bonar Jr. assumes leadership of the state’s largest pediatric system.

Mr. Bonar is currently the president and CEO of Seton Family of Hospitals, an 11-hospital system, and CEO of Dell’s Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, both based in Austin. He has previously held roles in several children’s hospitals, including those in Virginia and Oklahoma.

Mr. Bonar will assume the leadership position from Alan Goldbloom, MD, who is retiring Dec. 7 after leading Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota for 12 years.
