Jim Sexton appointed interim CEO of El Paso Children’s Hospital

Jim Sexton, MHA, has been appointed interim CEO of El Paso (Texas) Children’s Hospital.

Mr. Sexton has an extensive background in healthcare administration and leadership. Prior to joining El Paso Children’s Hospital, he served as president and CEO of Henry Ford Wyandotte (Mich.) Hospital since 2002. Before that, Mr. Sexton served as president and CEO of Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa, and St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mr. Sexton’s professional and community affiliations include Rotary International, the Wyandotte Public Schools Foundation, Michigan Hospital and Health Association Legislative Policy Panel and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the cities of Fond du Lac, Wis., Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Mason City, Iowa.
