Schuylkill Health names Marc Lory interim president and CEO

Pottsville, Pa.-based Schuylkill Health has announced the appointment of Marc Lory, MPA, as interim president and CEO.

Prior to joining Schuylkill, Mr. Lory served for the past nine years as executive vice president of hospital operations and president of Red Bank, N.J.-based Meridian Hospitals Corporation. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Lory was president and CEO of Eastern Connecticut Health Network in Manchester, Conn.

“We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Lory to Schuylkill Health and to our community to help guide our health system to the next level,” said Tony Baran, chairman of the board of directors. “He brings over 30 years of senior leadership experience in the healthcare industry. We are looking forward to working with Mr. Lory as Schuylkill Health moves forward.”
