Western State Hospital, an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Lakewood, Wash., dropped the 'interim' from CEO David L. Holt's title, according to a Seattle Times report.
Here are three takeaways:
1. Mr. Holt became interim CEO of the troubled hospital in June.
2. In July, the hospital lost its Medicare certification and $53 million in annual federal funds after failing a May inspection.
3. Mr. Holt was previously COO of the facility. He succeeded Marylouise Jones, who also served as interim CEO of the hospital.
