University of Mississippi Medical Center names new chief HR officer: 4 notes

Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center tapped Paula Henderson to serve as its new chief human resources officer.

1. Ms. Henderson most recently served as vice president of human resources at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.

2. She has prior experience working in the nonprofit arena, at a global technology conglomerate and at a national department store chain.

3. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration.

4. She earned her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
