San Ramon Regional Medical Center taps new CEO: 5 notes

San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center selected Ann Lucena to serve as CEO, effective April 23.

1. Ms. Lucena most recently served as senior director of hospital operations and chief of staff to the president of hospital operations at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

2. She previously served as associate administrator of San Ramon Regional Medical Center.

3. She also has experience in the healthcare investment banking and healthcare consulting arenas.

4. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston.

5. Ms. Lucena succeeds Gary Sloan, who is retiring.
