Parkland Health taps Corey Jackson as chief talent officer: 4 things to know

Dallas-based Parkland Health & Hospital System appointed Corey D. Jackson executive vice president and chief talent officer.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Jackson most recently served as senior vice president and associate chief talent officer at Parkland.

2. He joined Parkland in 2014, prior to which he was vice president for compliance, diversity and ethics at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

3. He also previously worked as director of diversity and inclusion at the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

4. Mr. Jackson earned his juris doctor degree at the University of Miami School of Law, and he is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
