1. Mr. Watkins most recently served as COO at Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Foundation Hospitals & Health Plan in the Central Valley area.
2. He previously served as vice president of clinical operations/COO of Medical North Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
3. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives as well as the 2013 National Association of Health Services Executives’ Young Healthcare Executive of the Year.
4. Mr. Watkins holds a master’s degree in public administration from Tennessee State University in Nashville.
