Twitter poaches former UPMC executive: 5 things to know

Twitter hired Candi Castleberry-Singleton as its new vice president of inclusion and diversity, according to a Trib Live report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Ms. Castleberry-Singleton previously served as chief inclusion and diversity officer at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

2. She founded the Dignity and Respect campaign while at UPMC. The campaign aims to encourage change and promote inclusion.  

3. She left UPMC in 2015 and took the campaign to other companies.

4. Prior to joining UPMC, she was the vice president of global inclusion and diversity at Motorola.

5. Ms. Castleberry-Singleton holds an MBA degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
