Summit Pointe CEO Erv Brinker suspended

Battle Creek, Mich.-based Summit Pointe CEO Erv Brinker has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer.

According to the report, the organization states “the action was taken in response to information received by Summit Pointe as part of an ongoing review,” which is investigating “alleged compliance issues, financial irregularities and potential conflicts of interest.”

Mr. Brinker has served as CEO since 1990 and previously was the executive director of Community Mental Health Services of Montcalm County in Stanton, Mich.

Bob Lambert, Summit Pointe COO, will serve as CEO in the interim, according to the report.
