BayCare Health System CEO to retire

Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System President and CEO Steve Mason, MHA, has announced he will retire in mid-2016. Tommy Inzina, MBA, CPA, BayCare’s COO, has been named Mr. Mason’s successor.

Mr. Mason came to BayCare in May 2004. He has more than 30 years of healthcare experience.

Mr. Inzina has more than 30 years of executive experience. He will assume the additional role of president on Jan. 1, 2015, while Mr. Maintain continues his CEO duties until his retirement. Mr. Mason will work closely with Mr. Inzina to ensure a smooth transition to the CEO role.
