Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., appointed Kelly R. Hersey, MD, director of its level III neonatal intensive care unit.
Here are three points:
1. Dr. Hersey is affiliated with Chattanooga-based Regional Obstetrical Consultants.
2. He most recently worked at Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he was director of telemedicine, director of the newborn follow-up clinic and medical control director for neonatal transport.
3. Fellowship trained in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, Dr. Hersey will lead the hospital's 22-bed NICU.
