Mr. Hammock has served as interim president of the hospital since May. He is also a senior vice president at Greensboro-based Cone Health, the hospital’s parent. He was previously president of Cone Health’s Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C.
He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a board member for the South Atlantic Healthcare Alliance.
Mr. Hammock holds a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
