Mr. Kolb has worked at Carle since 2014, when he joined as vice president of operations. He most recently served as the health system’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Mr. Kolb has also served in leadership positions with Allina Health in Minneapolis.
He holds a law degree from University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine.
He succeeds John Snyder, who resigned June 7.
