In his new role as chief information security officer, Mr. Carder sets the vision for and directs the company’s global information security program, according to a news release. Mr. Carder, who has more than 17 years of experience in corporate security and consulting for the Fortune 500 and government entities, is also vice president of LogRhythm Labs.
At Mayo, Mr. Carder designed an incident response infrastructure and established a cyber threat intelligence and response organization, according to a news release. Prior to that, he ran security consulting firm Mandiant’s Northeast field practice and New York City office.
