Salem Health hires Steve Gordon as CMO

Salem (Ore.) Health has hired Steve Gordon, MD, as CMO, according to a Statesman Journal report.

Dr. Gordon, who has been vice president of system transformation for Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, will start his new job June 1, Salem Health spokeswoman Sherryll Hoar said, according to the report.

In his new role, Dr. Gordon will help facilitate Salem Health’s clinical integration with Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, according to Salem Health CEO Norman Gruber.

Salem Health and OregonHealth & ScienceUniversityexpect to sign a letter of intent this month to affiliate their clinical enterprises.
