L+M Healthcare names Patrick Green CEO: 5 notes

New London, Conn.-based Lawrence + Memorial Healthcare tapped Patrick L. Green to serve as president and CEO, effective June 5. He will also serve as executive vice president of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health, L+M’s parent organization.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Green currently serves as senior executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Lakewood, Colo.-based St. Anthony Hospital, a member of Centura Health.

2. Equipped with 19 years of experience in healthcare leadership, he joined St. Anthony Hospital as COO in 2012.

3. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

4. He succeeds Bruce Cummings, who is retiring.

5. L+M Healthcare includes Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Westerly Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut and other ambulatory services.
