10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare tapped Tony Benton to serve as CEO of its Knoxville Metro region, effective April 10.

2. Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health selected Lydia Jumonville to serve as interim president and CEO.

3. Dallas-based Medical City Children's Hospital named William Lee CEO, effective May 1.

4. Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health appointed Todd Davis, MD, interim president and CEO, following Doug Luckett's sudden departure.

5. Alexandria, Va.-based Inova Mount Vernon Hospital named Don Brideau, MD, interim CEO, effective April 24.

6. Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health, part of the Kennewick Public Hospital District, selected Craig R. Cudworth to serve as interim CEO.

7. New Brunswick, N.J.-based Saint Peter's Healthcare CEO Ronald Rak is leaving his post.

8. East Cooper Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., appointed Patrick Downes CEO.

9. Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health President and CEO Doug Luckett resigned unexpectedly.

10. Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa., announced its CEO, Scott Whalen, is retiring.
