Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health appointed Todd Davis, MD, interim president and CEO, following Doug Luckett's sudden departure, according to a Gaston Gazette report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Davis is CaroMont Health's CMO, a position he has held since 2015.
2. He has previously served as vice president of medical affairs at CaroMont.
3. Fellowship-trained in critical care medicine, Dr. Davis has completed the master of medical management program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
4. Dr. Davis replaces Mr. Luckett, who resigned unexpectedly, citing "personal commitments."
