Mr. Cudworth works with Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Resources, a healthcare consulting firm Trios Health hired to recommend financial, operational and strategic improvements. He came to Trios in February to serve as chief restructuring officer and “lead the organization through a major project to return the organization to financial health,” a hospital statement notes.
Most recently, he served as acting CEO for Franklin (La.) Foundation Hospital. He holds a master’s in healthcare administration from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Mr. Cudworth takes over from Glen Marshall, who announced he will retire in June. Mr. Marshall has started moving away from the daily responsibilities of CEO, according to a Tri-City Herald report.
