2. He has worked at Johns Hopkins Medicine for 23 years, serving in numerous leadership roles such as director of finance for the Department of Radiology and Radiological Science.
3. He helped establish Johns Hopkins Medicine International and Johns Hopkins Singapore.
4. He holds master of health science and doctor of public health degrees from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
5. Dr. Roda succeeds Jim Young, who will assume other responsibilities at the hospital.
