HealthNet taps Rick Diaz to serve as CEO: 4 points

Indianapolis-based HealthNet, a federally qualified health center, appointed Rick Diaz president and CEO.

1. Most recently, Mr. Diaz served as COO of HealthNet.

2. His previous roles have included vice president of operations for Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation and clinic manager/administrator for Warren Clinic in Tulsa, Okla.

3. He succeeds J. Cornelius Brown, who has retired.

4. HealthNet provides care to more than 59,200 uninsured and underinsured patients through its growing network of 13 primary care health centers and numerous outreach programs.
