Craig Hospital names new CEO: 4 notes

Englewood, Colo.-based Craig Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital for spinal cord and brain injuries, tapped Jandel Allen-Davis, MD, to serve as president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. Allen-Davis most recently served as vice president of government, external relations and research at Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.

2. She started working at Kaiser 24 years ago as a staff physician.

3. She succeeds Mike Fordyce, who is retiring after a decade as leader of the hospital.

4. During his tenure, Mr. Fordyce led a $90 million, three-year construction and expansion project.
