She will take over the hospital in April, which is when Bayfront will commence its affiliation with Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates. Ms. Gillette replaces Sue Brody, who resigned after Bayfront completed its sale to Health Management.
Previously, Ms. Gillette served as CEO of Osceola Regional Medical Center, an HCA facility based in Kissimmee, Fla. She also has been COO, CFO and CEO of the former Community Hospital in New Port Richey, Fla. — now known as Medical Center of Trinity (Fla.) — and CFO of Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital.
