Avera Merrill Pioneer Hospital in Rock Rapids, Iowa, appointed Craig Hohn administrator of its replacement facility slated to open in May 2019, according to a Kiwa Radio report.

1. Mr. Hohn most recently served as the director of service line coordination for Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health.
2. He holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota.
3. Mr. Hohn will assume his new role Sept. 1.
4. The $28.9 million replacement facility encompasses more than 52,000 square feet of space.
