Arkansas hospital appoints 2 execs

Little Rock, Ark.-based Baptist Health promoted two leaders to executive roles at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, the health system said Jan. 23.

David Shenker, MD, was named chief medical officer of the hospital. He is an obstetrics & gynecology specialist who first joined Baptist Health as a surgical assistant in 1989.

Mackenzie Clyburn was also promoted to vice president of hospital operations. She first joined Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock in July 2022 as assistant vice president of hospital operations.
