9 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. Justin Birmele is the new CEO of AdventHealth Winter Park (Fla.). 

2. Arthur J. Blank, president and CEO of Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, Maine, will retire at the end of the year.

3. Ginger Carroll, RN, BSN, CEO of West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Fla., will leave her post to become CEO of Inverness, Fla.-based Citrus Memorial Hospital. 

4. Dustin Greene, CEO of TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tenn., is leaving to become CEO of TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

5. Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, Mich., selected Jose Kottoor as CEO.

6. John Morahan, president and CEO of Penn State Health St. Joseph in Reading, Pa., will retire in April.

7. Sutter Santa Rosa (Calif.) Regional Hospital selected Dan Peterson to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 27.

8. North Kansas City (Mo.) Hospital named Stephen L. Reintjes Sr., MD, president and CEO, effective in April.

9. St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, named Tim Trottier CEO.
