5 latest hospital, health system executive resignations

Becker’s Hospital Review reported on the following latest hospital and health system executive resignations. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

 1. Brent James, MD, will resign as chief quality officer of Salt Lake City, Utah-based Intermountain Healthcare effective August 26.

2. Mark Marcantano, president and COO of Providence, R.I.-based Women and Infants Hospital resigned July 28.

3. Dennis Laraway, executive vice president and CFO of Houston-based Memorial Hermann, will join Phoenix-based Banner Health as CFO on Sept. 29.

4. Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health dismissed Jewish Hospital President Joseph Gilene and CNO Shawn O’Connor, RN, DNP. 

5. David Koontz, CEO of Columbus, Ga.-based St. Francis Hospital, will resign effective August.
