Jake Golich has been named the first president and CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas Clarksville (Tenn.) Hospital, a $148.5 million hospital under development.
Mr. Golich brings nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving in executive and regional leadership roles with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division, according to an Oct. 29 news release from St. Louis-based Ascension.
He previously served as CEO of Pinewood Springs Mental Health & Wellness in Columbia, Tenn. His appointment marks a return to Ascension, where he began his healthcare leadership career at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.
Ascension Saint Thomas broke ground on the new hospital and integrated health campus in June. The hospital will initially have 44 inpatient beds, with capacity to expand to 132 beds.
The health system also established an inaugural community advisory board to help guide the hospital’s development.
