1. Jeffrey Lawson, MD, PhD, was appointed CMO of Raleigh, N.C.-based Humacyte, a biotechnology and vascular regenerative medicine company. Dr. Lawson was previously with Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
2. Royal Oak, Mich.-based Beaumont Health appointed Susan Grant, RN, BSN, as executive vice president and CNO. She will join Beaumont Health in December from Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare.
3. Sally Strzelecki, CNO of Phoenixville (Pa.) Hospital, announced plans to retire after 48 years with the hospital.
4. Martin Koonsman, MD, the CMO of Dallas-based Methodist Health System, was named president of Methodist Dallas Medical Center effective Oct. 1.
