30 recent hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves have been reported by Becker's since Dec. 9:

1. Diane Poirot was named chief human resources officer of Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville.

2. John Kueven, RN, was named president of Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

3. Tracy Vardeman, is retiring as chief strategy executive of Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, with her last day being Dec. 31.

4. Joel Yuhas, president and CEO of Colorado Springs-based UCHealth Memorial Hospital and its Pikes Peak region facilities, has accepted a new role with Pittsburgh-based UPMC. 

5. Kristie Whitlatch, MSN, BSN, president and CEO, is retiring from King's Daughters Health System in Ashland, Ky.

6. Kelly Enriquez was named president of Safety Harbor, Fla.-based Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin (Fla.) Hospital.

7. Steven Smith, MD, was named chief medical officer at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata.

8. Kelli Sadler, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Corewell Health East in Southfield, Mich., effective in January.

9. Randy Rogers was named CEO of Fountain Valley (Calif.) Regional Hospital.

10. Brian Barta was named CEO of Winfield, Kan.-based William Newton Hospital.

11. Alan Keesee was named CEO of Ocala (Fla.) Hospital.

12. Phil Smith was released as CEO of Tulare (Calif.) Local HealthCare District.

13. Heather Bentley Long, MSN, was appointed CEO of Leesburg-based UF Health Central Florida.

14. Chris Ghaemmaghami, MD, was appointed executive vice president and chief clinical officer at Miami-based Jackson Health System. 

15. Rafael Martinez-Chapman was named senior vice president and treasurer of Renton, Wash.-based Providence.

16. Michael Barbera, MSN, RN, was named COO of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie.

17. Lindsey Condron was named chief of operations for Cleveland Clinic London.

18. Rai Mughal was named chief information officer for Cleveland Clinic's London sites. He is also associate chief information officer for the Cleveland Clinic enterprise.

19. Abigail Stapleton was named executive director of international strategy for Cleveland Clinic London.

20. Nick Patel, MD, left his post as chief digital officer of Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health.

21. Tamera Larsen-Engelkes, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

22. Lori Spicer Robertson was named vice president and chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer for Memphis, Tenn.-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

23. Aaron Kugelmass, MD, was named executive vice president and chief medical officer of Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brown Mills, N.J. 

24. Rena Marsh was appointed vice president and chief diversity officer for Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health.

25. Baligh Yehia, MD, was selected as the next president of Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health, effective Jan. 17.

26. Doug Cropper is leaving his role as president and CEO of Davenport, Iowa-based Genesis Health System.

27. Susan Turney, MD, the first CEO of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System, will step down from the role in September.

28. Renee Buzby was named vice president of human resources for West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health.

29. Carl Sirio, MD, was named chief medical officer of Temple University Health System in Philadelphia. 

30. Robyn Miller, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Belton (Mo.) Regional Medical Center.
