Mr. Barta was a financial auditor for the hospital from 2010 to 2016, according to a Dec. 14 news release shared with Becker’s. He joined the hospital as CFO in 2018 and has served as interim CEO since June.
Mr. Barta was chosen for the permanent role out of 51 applicants and six interviewees, the release said. His top priorities as CEO are building teamwork and stabilizing the system’s finances.
