22 recent hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week:

1. Mercy Catholic Medical Center, with campuses in Philadelphia and Darby, Pa., has selected Trina Abla, DO, to serve as CMO.

2. Ralph Aleman, CEO of Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Fla., will retire at the end of 2019.

3. Dianne Anderson, president and CEO of Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital, is resigning Nov. 6.

4. Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center appointed Tara Beth Anderson as chief nursing officer, effective Dec. 2.

5. Gar Atchison has been appointed CEO of UP Health System-Marquette (Mich.) and market CEO of UP Health System, based in Marquette.

6. Patrick Branco, CEO of Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D., is retiring Dec. 1.

7. Sally Deitch, RN, has been named CEO of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's Mid-South Group, the Memphis (Tenn.) market and Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis.

8. OSF St. Mary Medical Center in in Galesburg, Ill., has selected Lisa DeKezel, RN, to serve as president, effective Nov. 18.

9. Rob DeMichiei, executive vice president and CFO of UPMC, is retiring at the end of the year.

10. Gabrielle Finley-Hazle, CEO of St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., resigned Oct. 11.

11. Audrey Gregory, PhD, RN, was selected to serve as president of Detroit Medical Center and CEO of DMC's adult central campus, overseeing six hospitals.

12. Michael R. Jaff, DO, president of Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass., is resigning for a leadership role at medical devicemaker Boston Scientific.

13. Anna Lopez will become COO of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown (Tenn.) Hospital.

14. The Medical Center of Southeast Texas has tapped Gary Mennie, MD, to serve as CMO of both its campuses in Port Arthur and Beaumont.

15. Hutchinson (Kan.) Regional Healthcare System has selected Duane Miller to serve as CFO.

16. Troy (Ala.) Regional Medical Center named Amy Minor interim CEO.

17. Tim Slocum was named COO of Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

18. HCA West Florida has selected Regina Temple, PhD, to serve as president and CEO Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Fla.

19. Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System has named Roberta A. Tinch president of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Va.

20. New York City-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center appointed Claus Torp Jensen, PhD, its first chief digital officer and head of technology.

21. Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg appointed Renee Twenter, RN, COO.

22. Dana Weston, president and CEO of Eden, N.C.-based UNC Rockingham Health Care, has resigned.
