Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare selects COOs for 2 hospitals

Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare appointed COOs for Methodist University Hospital in Memphis and Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown (Tenn.) Hospital.

Tim Slocum was named COO of Methodist University Hospital. Mr. Slocum spent the last 16 years at Navicent Health in Macon, Ga., where he most recently was vice president of systems support services. Before that, he was assistant vice president at the Medical Center, Navicent Health in Macon. He holds both an MBA and master’s degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Anna Lopez will become COO of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. Ms. Lopez has a long association with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, initially joining as a student in its radiology school in 1994 and then becoming an X-ray technologist at Methodist University Hospital. She was most recently vice president of professional services at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. Ms. Lopez holds an MBA from Union University in Jackson, Tenn.
