Detroit Medical Center names Dr. Audrey Gregory president

Audrey Gregory, PhD, RN, was selected to serve as president of Detroit Medical Center and CEO of DMC’s adult central campus, overseeing six hospitals.

Dr. Gregory most recently served as market CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Saint Francis Healthcare System and CEO of Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis. She also held several other leadership roles, including COO and CEO at Placentia-Linda Hospital in Placentia, Calif.

She is a member of the Tennessee Hospital Association’s board of directors and serves as chairperson of the association’s Tennessee Center for Patient Safety Advisory Council.

Dr. Gregory holds a doctorate degree in global leadership from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
