11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Arthur Evans, administrator/CEO of Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis, Ala., is retiring June 30.

2. Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Fla., selected Sharon D. Hayes, BSN, RN, to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 19.

3. Nathan Howell, president and CEO of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, N.Y., is resigning for a new job opportunity at Biddeford-based Southern Maine Health Care.

4. University of Mississippi Medical Center-Grenada CEO Don Hutson tendered his resignation.

5. Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives appointed T. Douglas Lawson CEO of its Texas division and senior vice president of the organization, effective March 19.

6. Kahuku (Hawaii) Medical Center selected Alan MacPhee to serve as CEO.

7. Rochester, N.H.-based Frisbie Memorial Hospital President and CEO John Marzinzik retired Feb. 5.

8. St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Bayfront Health tapped Joseph Mullany to serve as regional president and CEO.

9. Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida named Patricia Rosello, BSN, MSN, CEO of Baptist Hospital in Miami.

10. Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M., appointed Richard Stokes its permanent CFO.

11. Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio appointed J. Phillip Young CEO, effective March 5.
