Tulane Health System appoints new VP of transplant services: 3 points

New Orleans-based Tulane Health System named Helen Spicer, BSN, RN, its vice president of transplant services.

Here are three points:

1. Ms. Spicer previously served as clinical director of transplant services at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Va.

2. She is the current president of the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation.

3. She started her healthcare career at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where she established the transplant program.
