- Miami-based Mount Sinai Medical Center is one of the first healthcare organizations to implement a new Spanish-language, AI-powered tool from Epic.
- A July 18 report from KLAS found that Epic continued to lead the field in patient engagement technology.
- Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia developed an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to support clinicians with various tasks in its Epic EHR system.
- Patients of Cleveland-based University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic claimed that they encountered inaccurate information on their MyChart accounts stating that patient portals included diagnoses that weren’t theirs and treatments they never had.
- Seven community health organizations across four states began using OCHIN’s version of Epic during the second quarter of 2025.
- An Epic spokesperson told Becker’s that 28 healthcare organizations using its software connected to the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement in June.
- A July 10 KLAS report found that Epic’s Beacon oncology module led the way in customer satisfaction among EHR solutions for cancer care.
