Hannibal (Mo.) Regional Healthcare System plans to go live with Epic on July 9.

The one-hospital system is switching to the new EHR from Veradigm, formerly known as Allscripts.

“We ask for your patience as our team gets used to the new system,” Hannibal Regional stated in a July 3 Facebook post. “We’re committed to making this a smooth transition and can’t wait to offer you even better care with Epic.”

Patients are being asked to bring photo IDs and insurance cards to their first appointments after July 9, allow more time for check-ins and visits, and sign up for the MyChart patient portal.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
