Seven community health organizations across four states began using OCHIN’s version of Epic during the second quarter of 2025, expanding the nonprofit’s health IT network to reach more than 7.7 million patients nationwide.
Here are four things to know:
- The new go-lives mark continued momentum for OCHIN, which partners with safety-net providers to deliver a customized Epic EHR system, according to a July 15 news release shared with Becker’s.
- The organization now supports more than 300 community-based health organizations across 41 states, including rural hospitals, tribal clinics, behavioral health agencies and public health departments.
- The group was founded in 2000.
- In May, OCHIN Epic added five health centers and two rural hospitals to its network during the first quarter of 2025.
