Five recent health IT vendor contracts and go-lives:
1. David City, Neb.-based Butler County Health Care Center will install a Cerner EHR to move its records system to a single platform.
2. The Department of Veterans Affairs is partnering with HealthHIE Nevada, the state's health information exchange, to improve EHRs sharing among providers and VA medical facilities.
3. Fairfield, Calif.-based David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis will go live on the Department of Defense's new Cerner-supported EHR in September.
4. Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health will deploy Artifact Health's mobile application that aims to support the physician query process by improving clinical documentation.
5. Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health partnered with Contessa, an acute home care management company, to offer its patients home recovery care services including virtual visits by a physician and remote monitoring.
