Twelve recent health IT vendor contracts and go-lives:

1. Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, part of the Owensboro (Ky.) Health network, completed its transition to an Epic EHR.

2. Garmin Health and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association announced a partnership on May 29 that will provide Garmin wearable devices and health tracking metrics at a discount to BCBS members nationwide.

3. Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital deployed Meditech's web-based EHR system.

4. Kingman (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center launched a Meditech EHR June 1.

5. Amicus Therapeutics, a Cranbury, N.J.-based biotech company, has expanded its partnership with the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia to research and develop gene therapies for a broad swath of rare diseases.

6. UCLA Health will implement Microsoft Azure to increase its clinical and research data synthesis as well as its precision medicine efforts.

7. Hospital Sisters Health System is implementing an Epic EHR at two Chippewa Falls, Wis.-based HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital locations as part of HSHS' four-year, $112 million EHR transition.

8. Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network and Philips have agreed to a 10-year partnership to improve patient care.

9. Williamson (W.V.) Memorial Hospital will implement a Meditech EHR to unify its patients' medical records on a single system.

10. Ruston-based Northern Louisiana Medical Center patients can now access their medical data through Apple's health records app.

11. Oregon Health & Science University Doernbecher Children's Hospital is using a new platform developed by Locus Health, a digital health platform company, to improve follow-up care for cardiology and neonatal intensive care unit patients.

12. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health patients can now access TytoCare's portable patient examination device for telehealth appointments.
