The remote monitoring system connects parents to Portland-based OHSU healthcare providers via an app, allowing them to share their babies’ health information in real time. The app can record health data including heart rate, oxygen levels, food intake and weight, Locus Health Vice President Lindsey Koshansky, RN, said in a news release emailed to Becker’s Hospital Review.

The app, called Growing @ Home, is compatible with Apple iPads and iPhones.
